Adam M. Tawney, MD, is a highly skilled clinical and interventional cardiologist who joined Millennium Cardiology in September 2023. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oakland University and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2016. Dr. Tawney completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 2019, followed by fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Interventional Fellow.

Dr. Tawney sees patients at both the Madison Heights and Farmington Hills locations, providing inpatient care at Corewell and Ascension Hospital systems. His clinical expertise includes managing complex coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and catheter-based treatments for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and coronary CT angiography. His research focuses on cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary embolism, and he has lectured on these topics at local and national conferences.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Tawney enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
